The Ray mobile unit concentrates solar heat and high intensity UV to sterilize bacteria and reduce BOD and COD levels in concentrated waste streams.
Ray's 5-step process provides a significant reduction in contaminate concentration with a single pass:
- A three-stage filtration system screens solids.
- A compressor increases available oxygen in the waste.
- A high efficiency exchange system retains heat.
- A large, durable lens delivers the power of 300 suns for high temperature breakdown and significant UV exposure.
- Catalytic metals inside the receiver react with the heat and UV to provide a powerful semi-conduction that attacks the carbon bonds in all organics.
