Established in 1948, Galaxy Plastic is a second generation company located in La Crosse, Virginia that specializes in custom acrylic castings. They are responsible for casting Ray's lens, and Focal is delighted by their longstanding partnership.
The inception for the Ray lens came from Donalds's garage. After 50 years in the Aerospace industry, he decided to embark on an idea that he felt had been underestimated decades earlier.
Upon seeing his father's project, Eric instantly knew the lens had potential to increase sustainability across many sectors. Eric envisioned Ray as a practical solution against harmful byproducts of everyday, necessary practices.
Focal was formed when Eric put together a team of experts who were equally enamored with the potential of Ray. They have created multiple generations of the Ray unit in their committment to creating a powerful product that their clients can depend on.
